Infant Toddler Maine Early Learning and Development Standards (IT MELDS) and Maine Early Learning and Development Standards (MELDS) trainings are required at Star 3 in Standard 1: Learning Environment and Developmentally Appropriate Practice with Rising Stars for ME. Which training(s) the Program Director/Owner and/or staff are required to complete depends on the ages of children served by your program. If your program is pursuing a rating of Star 3 or above and you need to take this training, but believe you have the coursework, experience, and training necessary to qualify for a waiver, please fill out this application. The more information you include, the easier it is for Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network to see if you qualify for a waiver.
