To determine if the extension of the grace period affects your Rising Stars for ME certificate, check your expiration date on the new Rising Stars for ME certificate that was sent to your program at the end of March 2023. (Need a refresher? Here’s more information from a previous Tip of the Week.)

Now that you know your expiration date, here’s how you know how the grace period extension affects your program:

• Your expiration date was September 29, 2023. Your expiration date has been extended until November 1, 2023.

• Your expiration date was between September 30 and October 31, 2023. Your expiration date has been extended until November 1, 2023.
• Your expiration date is on or after November 1, 2023. Your expiration date remains the same.
